10-0 Bleed Air System Controls
1.
The engine BLEED VALVE allows the engine bleed air to flow into the left and right bleed air ducts. The HP VALVE is only a dummy.
2.
When the APU BLEED valve is open, the APU bleed air flows into the left bleed air duct. APU bleed air is only available when the APU is running above 90% N.
3.
A vertical bar on the X FEED switch indicates that the X FEED valve is closed and a horizontal bar indicates that the valve is open and bleed air is flowing from the left duct an vice versa.
The valve is only manually controllable if the AUTO switch is off.
4.
The automatic control of the X FEED valve is normally on.
The valve is opened if one of the engine BLEED VALVES is closed or the APU BLEED valve is open.
5.
The pressure indicator indicates the air pressure in PSI in the left bleed air duct.
